This kind of mistake feels a great deal like Facebook’s February 2009 debacle when the business transformed its user agreement in an “all take, no give” arrangement that provided the company the right to use, in perpetuity, all information shared by its users on the site. Unfortunately for Facebook or myspace, this update has also created what analysts think is an increase in the quantity of users wanting to delete their Facebook data files. The number of pursuit of “how do i erase my Facebook account [sic]” have increased considerably since the changes were announced, and a mass exodus from Fb has been scheduled for May 31.

Nothing In the Web Is Free of charge

Facebook has over 4 hundred million users, and after the mass exodus, the site will have over 400 million users.

The changes Facebook has turned are part of Facebook’s inevitable earning cash strategy. And that is the point. Nothing about Facebook is free. Facebook is never in the game not to make money. And it is finally doing so. This kind of year the organization is expected to have revenues of between $1. 2 and $2 billion. And yes, some of that will be profit.

Facebook will in the end strike the necessary balance between its bottom collection and its users. They will always do. But what users have to realize is that one simple fact will remain: Facebook will generate profits off of the information users share on its site.
